Seriously, they're all people talked about after the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom presentation.
Couldn't tell you why.
Couldn't tell you why.
I wasted April Fool's Day by immediately un-sending the prank text I sent to Maia, which meant she then, naturally, didn't believe me when I tried to send it again.
The next day, Mum & Maia cleaned out my room while I was at work!
The only thing is that as a result of that, many things got moved around, and some random things that I'd kept for no real reason - but were, and still are, precious to me nonetheless - got lost in the commotion.

Like one of my bits of silicone, which I still haven't found. I assume it was binned.
On Wednesday, the 5th, Maia & I went to the cinema to watch the Super Mario Bros. Movie!
I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting it to be much, but it actually turned out much more enjoyable than I thought it'd be!
None of the critics liked it, sure, but I can imagine that's down to the fact they categorically do not know anything about Mario games -- and the film is more for people who do.
Like me!
I also stopped by work on the way home and said hi to everybody.
It was actually the release date when we went to see the film, but that was a coincidence -- Wednesday was the only day Maia could do it because of her work.
The next day, we went to IKEA as a family -- as always, lunch was great, and the ice cream at the end was a wonderful treat!
On Easter Sunday, we went out for breakfast, so we left early. Here's mine:
If it looks similar to my New Year's breakfast, that's because it's the same place.
Literally. The exact same building.
Anyway, when we got back home, Mum, Maia & I sat down and watched the final episode of The Owl House, "Watching and Dreaming"!
I really liked it!
There's one part I'd like to talk about, but it's a spoiler for Amphibia's grand finale, and both Mum & Maia read this blog and haven't yet finished Amphibia, so I'm going to hold off on that.
A few days later, I finally beat Super Mario Land - the first video game I ever played in my life - for the first time!
To think, it only took eighteen years.
Nearly two weeks later from that saw Mum's birthday!
I'd bought her present all the way back in January - the 8th, to be specific - and she liked it!

Later that day also saw the test of the emergency alert system.
The terrible failure of a test, that is.
And, just to clarify, yes, I number among the people who didn't get the notification.
Never trust a Tory to handle tech!
The next day, I had a doctor's appointment -- the outcome was that I'm now on two more medications.
Also, I'm taking some vitamin D supplements I received back in September.
They taste like emptiness and the void.
Also, slightly, artificiality.
The next day, we had Mum's birthday dinner, which for me was McDonald's (because I'm a picky eater) and for everybody else was Indian takeout.
And that brings me up to the present day!
In the meantime, Maia's trying to beat Zelda: Breath of the Wild before Tears of the Kingdom is released. In fact, lots of people are doing that. Including people, like her, who've played the game since release.
Why the hell didn't they finish it, like me, when it came out six years ago?!
Or, at the very least, at any point in time since then?
Who knows. (At least in Maia's case, i think it's just that she hasn't had much time to do so, considering she, you know, went to university.)
Either way, that's it from me for this month!
I'll be back next month -- with another Zelda game (hopefully!) under my belt!
As they say in the language of my ancestors (whose endangered status very much bothers me, seeing as I could've been bilingual in it and English, but that's neither here nor there), slán!
