Meat arrows do nothing. I repeat, this time in (probably wrong) Old English, flæsces earwa doþ nawiht.
I am very disappointed.
Also, yes -- I've updated the look of the blog! Slightly. In case you're wondering, it's just the fonts.
The story begins all the way back at the beginning of the month, when I had my first-ever rude customer experience!
I was mopping the floor at work - which, for the record, I absolutely hate doing, but that's not relevant to the story - and in comes a lady who looks around the shop. So far, so good.
Also, note that a) there was a "cleaning in progress" sign up at the door, and b) I started mopping before the woman came in.
Anyway, I continued mopping, but when the woman decided she wanted to walk out, she noticed she would have to walk over mopped floor, and I guess she considered herself to somehow be "too important" or something to do so, and decided to take it out on me.
"You saw me," she said. "You should have told me before you started," she said.
Never mind the fact that, as I mentioned, I'd started mopping BEFORE she came in.
Either way, I started to apologise, but only managed "I'm sorry, but-" before she rudely cut me off and said "you don't sound it".
I, however wasn't about to let that slide - and while at first I thought my response of "well you don't sound nice" was weak, I realised later that, since the woman thought I wasn't sorry, to her it carried undertones of "I'm not sorry because you're not nice", which I figure is probably the best thing I could've said.

Never mind, as well, the fact that when I say almost-childish things like that, it's because I was about to SWEAR, but I manage to stop myself just in time.
ANYWAY!
The next few days were normal enough.
The 6th, of course, was the coronation. Dad managed to get a hold of two tickets for it, so he and Mum went up to London to see it, while I just managed to drag myself out of bed ten minutes before it started.
It was... okay. To be perfectly honest, I only really watched it because the last one was 70 years ago.
Sadly, I missed the part where Camilla grabbed the crown for herself, because I was busy eating lunch. I did catch the awkward re-positioning of the crown on Charles' head, though, and found it somewhat funny.
Then came the big day -- Friday, the 12th, the day I'd been waiting an impressive 18% of my entire life - 4 years - for!
I'm not going to spoil Tears of the Kingdom, but it is SUCH A GOOD GAME. Here's a few screenshots from the beginning area:

And, of course, my very first - and very stupid - death!
Virtually all of my free time for the last 2+ weeks has been spent playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and I'm still not done with it.
I've defeated the final boss, sure, but I'm not actually done, if that makes sense.
I haven't explored everywhere, and I haven't completed all of the shrines (which are small challenges that reward you for completing them), so my work isn't quite done yet!
Major ToTK ending spoilers
At least Princess Zelda is okay in the end.To tell the truth, I was really sad when I realised she'd turned into the Light Dragon, because she had to sacrifice her mind in order to do so, and I actually had to spoil the "she's okay" part of the ending so that I was less sad.
(yeah, look at me, I discovered an in-built way, in HTML, to hide spoilers)
On the 21st, we went up to Grandma & Granddad, who are both doing well.
We also got to see Mum & Dad's wedding, as it'd been transferred over from video to DVD, and Mum was finally able to answer the question of what song the two of them first danced to.
At any rate, that just about wraps it up for this month!
I'll be back, as ever, in exactly 30 days -- so I'll see you then!
