May 2020: The end came early

I FORGOT ABOUT APRIL

Sorry about that. 😐

First off, I ought to mention that last month in Animal Crossing, we had:

Cherry blossoms!

Copious amounts of eggs all over the town!

Totally-not-Easter!

Birthdays!

A black-market art seller!

And a fully-paid-off mortgage!

So all of that was certainly interesting.

But it isn't April right now, it's May - so let me tell you what's happened this month!

As usual, I've had college, so I was working towards completing all of my assignments.

BUT THEN four days into the month, we're told that everything's changed and all assignments due from 21 March onward will have grades predicted instead, like with GCSEs and A levels.

Now, mostly, that's a nice thing to be told, because it means I got to relax and take everything slower. But it also means that I did six assignments for no reason whatsoever.

Also there were still some assignments that I hadn't achieved pass for, so I needed to do them before the 20^th, which was the new deadline for everything.

I managed to get everything done (not before having one of my resubmissions rejected again, even though I vehemently disagree with the rejection) and now I'm relaxing.

On the 14^th, this was just announced out of nowhere:

also Princess Peach is now evil

Then, on the 16^th, Terraria released its final major update, version 1.4! So I've also been playing that quite a lot recently. It's a marked improvement on older versions, with additions like special bombs perfect for digging tunnels, lawn mowers to stop weeds from growing (one of may favourite things!), among other things.

Also, since the deadline for everything was the 20^th, I've now finished college!

Since then, I've also had my air conditioner set up because it's TOO HOT

...and that's been my month! So, with that, I'll say goodbye until next month!
