Hello from definitely not today because I kept putting this off!
Not like it actually matters, considering how uneventful this month's been (for the most part.)
So, like I said, this month has been mostly uneventful - no game announcements, though the first part of the add-on content for Pokémon Sword & Shield - "The Isle of Armour" - released on the 17th.
I would add screenshots, but I'm too lazy. At any rate, it's a good expansion! The Isle of Armour itself (i.e. the eponymous location) is very open, much like the base game's Wild Area, but includes actual biomes (caves, forest, ocean, desert), making for a much-improved experience.
Also there was that awful heatwave over last weekend, which resulted in this:
