Happy Christmas!
Yes, it's that time of year once again - the time where people put on about half their body weight due to eating and when people also go bankrupt from buying tons of gifts!
Or in my case, the day when I went through a huge amount of insulin. 😉
So, this Christmas… where to begin?
Well, as I'm sure everybody's aware, it's my first Christmas with diabetes. Despite this, I am still having enough sweets to cause the world's worst toothache. After all, it's Christmas; surely I should be allowed treats!
And there's always the matter of presents. My list of presents includes:
- A Frio insulin wallet (it keeps my insulin cool if we were to go to someplace hot.)
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (I did want it, but the problem was that I've had the Wii U original since release, so I never bought it. But now I do have it!)
- £45 in Amazon vouchers
- Two posters (one a map of Europe and one based on Zelda: Wind Waker.)
- A new pair of headphones
- T-shirts in assorted colours
- The Carbs & Cals book for carbohydrate counting (it will definitely help!)
- A few other assorted presents, like a door sign and a book about Raspberry Pi projects
So this Christmas has been a decent one; well, wonderful apart from the fact that I've been up since about 3:30 AM… that in particular has not been fun.
But apart from that, it's been all good! This has been my last post for 2017, so I will see all of you on New Year's Day! Bye for now!
