July 2022: The Million-Year Malady

 

Well, here we are at the end of another month -- so here's what's happened to me!

also yes June's a thing, but I forgor 💀

In May, I finally completed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the first time, and throughout June, I kept playing Zelda games to complete them at long last, managing to complete four more (Majora's Mask, Spirit Tracks, The Minish Cap & The Wind Waker) over the course of just over a month!

I also did other things as well.

On the 6th, we visited my grandparents, where I went for a walk with Maia back toward the stream I went to in April, but we had to turn around early because it was too muddy to get close.

I have no idea what vegetables they are, but they'd grown since last I saw them!

Then, the next day was Maia's birthday, so we went out to TGI Friday's for dinner -- though since my last birthday, they'd shut the one closest to us, so we had to go elsewhere instead.

After that, not much really happened for the rest of the month, though my computer did spontaneously uninstall Microsoft Office when I tried to fix a bug in PowerPoint.

Long story short, I have newer versions now.

And then there's July.

I have grey hairs now.

I'm not even 21 yet!

Of course, when the Million-Year Malady™ itself hit, we weren't spared -- I kept myself at the computer, directly in front of my air-con unit, for as long as I could.

With temperatures like that, though, what else could I do?

Plus, the next day, me & Maia went to IKEA, so that helped me at least recover from the hottest day for over two million years. (that is a guess, yes, but an educated one)

...And that's it for this month! So, I'll be back at the end of next month... hopefully!
