Late, but not not -- that's me, I think (where the second "not" means "not present", anyway.)
Also I'm just worried that I got the title wrong because I used Google Translate because I haven't actually started on verbs yet in my lessons
TO begin, at the start of the month, I decided to finally get on with something I'd been saying I wanted to do for a while, so I downloaded Duolingo and started on the Irish-language course!
Now, I'm not going to pretend that it has a serious application in the real world -- but for me, it's not about that, it's about establishing a connection, no matter how small, with my Irish-speaking ancestors.
At any rate, I'm now able to piece together a few (possibly grammatically incorrect) sentences in Irish:
Ní is buachaill mé, is fear mé.
"I'm not a boy, I'm a man."
Ólaim an t-uisce.
"I drink the water."
Is an marfóir damhán alla mé
"I am the spider killer" or "I am the killer of spiders"
(Maia calls me the "spider killer" for... obvious reasons)
Apart from that, though, not much else has happened to me this month.
I did restart - and complete to 100% - Zelda: Ocarina of Time (on the 3DS), as well as starting is sequel, Majora's Mask, yesterday! (Also on the 3DS.)
So that's it for this month.
I'm looking forward to 2pm tomorrow, where a new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet will be released -- but the next post will be at the end of June, as usual, so see you then!
