Week Overview: Mon 21/3/16 to Fri 25/3/16

Hello there everybody! Today marks the beginning of the Easter holidays, so let's get going with the blogging!

Monday
On Monday, we went ot for this term's PE Pupil of the Week trip. We went to Mercedes-Benz World... not my decision. I still had an okay time anyway (well, later.) We went for lunch at the Beefeaters just outside Guildford and then went for a drive. Everyone (excluding me) played a 'Left or Right game' in which everyone took turns directing Marta which way to turn. We almost went down a really steep incline (except it was private property) and then managed to get to the top a a really tall hill. I stayed in the bus.

Tuesday
On Tuesday, it was mainly business as usual. I had Science as usual and in that we kind of wrapped up about the human body. I also ended up painting (parts of) a drawing of a Minion with Sammy. But other than that, it was just a normal day.

Wednesday
And then Wednesday made up for the normality of Tuesday by dropping me in London again for the second gold points category day trip - the staff members accompanying us were Michelle, Derek and Rowena. We were dropped off at Guildford train station, had a small mishap which eventually resulted in Michelle paying the train fare for everybody, and took the train from there to London (Waterloo Station). We went over the Millennium Bridge and had a rest stop at the Costa there. Then we continued to walk, going along the Strand through to Covent Garden and stayed there for about ten minutes. After that, we walked over to Leicester Square, had another rest stop and went in the M&M's World shop there. After that, everyone except me took part in a contest: who can get the tackiest tourist item with a budget of £5? The winner was Derek, who got a postcard reading 'London by night'. It was completely black except for the text. After that, (I'm saying that a lot.) we went to TGI Friday's for lunch. Except we went into the Piccadilly Circus TGI Friday's and our reservation was in the Leicester Square one. Anyway, after lunch, we legged it all the way back to Waterloo Station, and still almost missed the train. As in, the doors were being held open when I got on. And then when I got home, I had a blister from all the walking. So in a nutshell, Wednesday was eventful. Very eventful.

Thursday
Yesterday, in the morning, I noticed my blister had gone, which was good. When I got into school, we first played Ker-Plunk all the way through English (we were allowed), then I went on Youtube throughout Science (again, we were allowed.) After break, we went into the end-of-term assembly, in which I got £80 in Amazon vouchers! After that, we went home. Sadly, Miss Clark is leaving now, but I'll continue to post on this blog and tell everyone - including Miss Clark - about what's going on in school and at home for a while yet!

Good Friday
Yep, an extra day off school and work has come to us thanks to Good Friday! Today, I've spent most of my time having a relaxed day. It's been nice just being able to relax and have a couple of weeks away from school.

And now we reach the end of this blog post. This week has certainly been eventful, and coming up, a relaxing two weeks off school. Our inspirational quote today is as follows:
"Happiness resides not in possessions and not in gold; the feeling of happiness dwells in the soul."
-Democritus
So then, I'll see everyone on Sunday for the Easter post! Bye for now!
