Hello everybody! This week has not really been different from the others - apart from Thursday and Friday (HUGE difference!), so let's get going with this weekly update!
Whole Week
On Tuesday only (more on this later), I did the following:
In Science, I covered revision.
In English, I covered revision.
In Maths, I started a test.
In ICT, I covered Word shenanigans (revision).
Monday
Monday wasn't really different from the rest of the Mondays, apart from the fact that we learnt the YMCA has a Wii! Me and Skye (my friend) played on it for a little while during break and lunch.
Tuesday
I don't really have much to say about today, but it was the only day I managed to be able to do Nisai learning. Also, it seems that on my school computer account (and every other), things were reset to the way they were a year ago. So I lost a year's worth of... everything.
Wednesday
Now... Wednesday was an odd day. Technically, I did do some Nisai learning - but it was only for eight minutes, and only Science. Then we were disconnected. It was even effort to get onto the lesson in the first place! The normal site - otherwise known as the NVA4 site - was seemingly offline, so we used the NVA5 site, which wasn't supposed to be launching until after the half-term. (We managed to get on thanks to changing the URL.)
Thursday
Wow! Thursday was a day and a half! We went on a day trip to London - it was the gold trip, reserved for those who were the best of the best in behaviour. We were dropped down to Guildford train station and took the train from there to Waterloo. When we got there, we went to Sealife on the Thames Walk and later had lunch at the TGI Friday's on Coventry Street. (You know, the yellow property on Monopoly. I had fun noting the street colours on Monopoly - like when we saw a sign for the Strand!) Here's the categories and the associated trips:
Gold trip - Trip to Sealife London then unknown-for-days restaurant (TGI Friday's)
Silver trip - Harvester for lunch then Air Hop (a trampoline place)
Bronze trip - Burger King for lunch then Guildford Spectrum (bowling/ice skating?)
Green category - No trip (nobody actually got this to my knowledge?)
So that was a really great day. But there's more!
Friday
SUCH an amazing day!! Parents, carers and (in my case) a sibling - Maia (who runs a blog) came and were toured around the school. But (in my opinion) the best part was where I got a total of £50 in Amazon vouchers! (I've spent most of it already.) So that means this week was completely and truly amazing - and next week's half term!
And so we reach the message from my mind.
"Beauty is not only on the outside. What is inside matters far more."
Well then, I'll see you on Sunday for Random Content! Until then, have a nice weekend!
