Random Content - 25 October 2015

Hello everybody, and happy Sunday! I've had a decent weekend, so let's get this post on with!

Jellyfish
Jellyfish are odd creatures - they have no brain, blood or gills and are 95% to 98% water. Ever since I found this out on Thursday, I have been wondering how jellyfish are even considered to be 'alive'. They're strange creatures, that's one piece of truth about them!

Earth's history
This is something that has fascinated me of years - the history of Earth - a 4.6 billion year tale full of all kinds of weather, creatures and phenomena. So many things are told in it - from how life formed to how fossil fuels form. For those reasons, the history of Earth has fascinated me for years.

Mrs. Persaud
I want to mention Mrs. Persaud, an English teacher who has left my school. We were great friends and had lots of fun together. Whenever I was to be taught English, being taught by Mrs. Persaud always put a smile on my face. Thank you for the year in which you taught me, Mrs. Persaud - you won't be forgotten!

Magic by Lucas and Mr. Persaud
I also want to mention Mr. Persaud and the things we've discussed in two presentations, Magic - Part 1 and Magic - Part 2. Both of these presentations contain things we've discussed - I put them into presentation form in order to preserve them for as long as possible. (And I can be a bit forgetful.)

Messages from my mind
I'm beginning to run out of ideas for the messages from my mind, so I thought, why not hold a mind-message contest? (The time will help give me more ideas.) The contest will be up until 5 pm next Saturday, so if you have an idea, why not put it in? Three winners will be selected from the entries and the their messages put into my three next blog posts along with credit! You can find the contest here. Remember, there's only six days for this contest!

Pokémon of the Week
This week's Pokémon of the Week is...
Castform - in its Snowy Form!
Castform - the Weather Pokémon - is a Pokémon that is able to change its appearance - or Form - with the weather. It takes its Snowy Form when it begins to hail. In this form, its typing ensures it is safe from the damaging effects of the hail, and as there are not many Ice-type Pokémon, its opponents will likely be trapped in an endless cycle of pain by hail.

And that brings us to today's message from my mind.
"Every action has a consequence, that is only natural. But it is always smart to look into what could occur if you do any action."
(I ought to take that advice.) I suppose I'll see you on Friday then! Bye for now!
