So, buckle up, because this month has been chock-full of happenings!
Just in case you didn't notice, that was sarcasm.
Sarcasm is hard to convey over text.
So, we begin this quiet month with a dream I had at the end of last month, because basically nothing happened this month and I need to pad this blog post out somehow.
In this dream, Dad disappeared, so after waking up and writing it down, I had the brilliant idea to call it (because I name most of my dreams) "Have You Seen This Dad?"
I mean, Maia found it funny, so that's mission accomplished, right? She rated 8/10 on funniness, anyway.
There was also another dream I had on the 1st of May that featured a dimension of endless corridors.
Over the course of the month, I've been playing a videogame called Terraria, and I have some screenshots to share from that, too!
no this isn't more padding what are you talking about

Anyway, on the 13th, while I was walking home from work, I saw two cats!

And, even though it's out of order with respect to the rest of the month, we watched Doctor Who when it aired on the 11th.
The first episode, "Space Babies", was a low-stakes, relatively feel-good adventure (though I do take issue with how quickly we were supposed to start sympathising with the bogeyman) while the second, "The Devil's Chord", was my favourite so far, with a brilliantly over-the-top performance from Jinkx Monsoon as Maestro, an evil god of music whose goal was to steal all the music in the world for themself.
Over the next couple of weeks, we watched the next two episodes as well -- "Boom", where the Doctor steps on a landmine that, using him as the explosive, could destroy half of the planet; and "73 Yards", where companion Ruby gets cursed so that everybody abandons her -- I hear that "73 Yards" was actually the first episode they shot, even before last year's Christmas special!
On Wednesday, the 29th, Maia and I went on a sibling day out to Reading once again, and this time, the ice cream machine at IKEA was working!
Sure, it kept dripping chocolate sauce (which I hate) over my ice cream, but it's like they say -- six of one, half a dozen of the other.
In blog news, I'm considering making some changes to this blog and its upload schedule, but I haven't settled on anything for certain yet, so watch this space. (And by "this space", I of course mean "the equivalent space in the next blog post".)
Either way, that's it from me for this month, so goodbye for now!
