Summer 2021: I have a sieve for a head

I'M BACK
I'M ALIVE, AND I'M BACK
So let's talk about that!

Honestly, not a lot happened to me over this summer. I started a town on a new copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf (that was the second restart I mentioned in May, but I didn't specify which game it was) at the end of May, and that lasted a good two or so months before we stopped playing (because Mum prefers New Horizons now.)
I'm thinking of maybe restarting Let's Go to the City again.
Also, it was Maia's birthday (as usual) on the 7th, so... (I'm not exactly sure what I should say here, since this is the sixth time I've talked about Maia's birthday on this blog.)

Then, there was a Nintendo Direct on the 15th of June - the last day of E3 - where they showed another trailer to Zelda: Breath of the WIld's sequel.

I went to Reading with Maia the next day, and we had lunch at IKEA, as we usually do.

I also visited my grandparents on the 28th, and we had some interesting discussions about family history

As far as I can remember right now, nothing particularly interesting happened in July, though there was a Bug-Off event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which I took part in because I missed last year's July event.

I also started another playthrough of Pokémon SoulSilver with a specific set of rules, called a 'Nuzlocke run' (named after a web comic), where:
a) You can only capture the first Pokémon you find in any given area
b) If a Pokémon faints (i.e. its health hits 0) then it must either be released or put in storage permanently, and cannot be used again

I also found out that my iPad's stopwatch had accidentally been running for over half a year (since the 28th of November last year, to be precise.)

Either way, across August, I continued to play Pokémon, getting bored of SoulSilver and starting on White 2 instead about halfway through the month, which I'm still (occasionally) playing now.

I also went to Reading (again) on the 20th (though this time the trip there was on my own), visited my grandparents (again as well) on the 21st and went into town on the 25th.

I also restarted my PowerPoint series 'The MRS NERG Chronicles' but we DO NOT EVER TALK ABOUT THAT

And that's more or less everything noteworthy I've done this summer.
So, with that, I'll bow out for now, and see you again at the end of this month!
