THANK GOD AUGUST IS OVER. I for one can't stand how boiling-hot it always gets.
Naturally, this year was not an exception, as anyone at all on the entire continent can attest to.
So... let's begin, I guess.
Let's actually begin in this month (shocking, I know.) On the 1st, me and Dad went to Ikea and had a look around there. I got ice cream at the end, so I consider that a plus!
I also tried jelly and ice cream... but I won't again because the ice cream kept freezing the jelly and overpowering it in terms of taste.
On the 2nd, me and Dad went up to the Midlands to help Maia pack her things up and put them in storage, ready for going back to uni!
The 3rd was yet another Community Day in Pokémon GO, so me and Mum went into town, this time to find Shiny Ralts!
On the 10th, me, Mum and Maia went out on a short walk, with Mum & Maia also picking blackberries. We saw a couple of swans on a large pond:
Also, I noticed an... odd graphical glitch in the new Egg-hatching screen on Pokémon GO:
Skipping ahead to the 17th, Mum & Dad went to Portsmouth for a night, leaving me & Maia at home. We got a Chinese takeout for dinner, so that was nice - especially considering it's been ages since I had Chinese food!
Then, on the 23rd, I decided I'd play Animal Crossing again, because I enjoy it and it's fun!
All my villagers took delight in informing me that I'd been gone for three months.
All of them.
On the 29th, I went to the eye clinic at my local hospital, because when I had my eyes tested back in January, the optician thought I might have keratoconus - a degenerative eye condition where the cornea gradually thins, causing worsening eyesight.
At the eye clinic, they photographed my cornea to check, and came to the conclusion that I do NOT have keratoconus, which is always good news! (That still doesn't protect me from blindness, because I'm diabetic and that'll always be a possibility.)
...and that leads to now. Thankfully, the worst of the summer heat seems to have finally disappeared, so it's time to relax for me!
...Until college begins again in one week. But I can play something over that week, so I should be fine!
Also, it's now just under two weeks until I turn 18. So - I just realised - that means I've been running this blog for four years.
(insert dull surprise here)

At least it's a Shiny that looks DIFFERENT to its ordinary self. I still hate Shiny Garchomp. To be fair, so does everyone else. |

Those black triangles should NOT be present. Perhaps the backdrop was going to end at a certain point on the screen? Or it could just be leftovers from the previously-used hatching scene. |

So with that, I'll be posting again on Monday, the 30th of September!
