Goodbye, Maia!

Hello, everyone. It’s been quite eventful recently, so… shall we get on with the post?

Today, our house is very quiet; this is because my sister, Maia, is now gone.
She’s moved up to the Midlands to study to become a midwife - and nobody could be happier for her.

But, on the flip side… we all really, really miss her. Me especially; while my mum and dad have known Maia her whole life, I’ve known her my whole life. I wasn’t able to imagine life without Maia - from the day I was born, my sister was always a fundamental component of my life… but she’s not here anymore.

Not to say I’m not still happy or proud of her! Maia’s going on to do bigger and better things, and everybody wishes her luck in her journey to become a midwife.

So good luck, Maia!
May your wishes and dreams come true!

…also, I promised to reveal a secret about myself in my 16th birthday post. Since that didn’t end up happening, I now reveal where in England I live:
I live in the county of Hampshire, in south-east England.

Anyway, that shall be all from me for today. See you again in a couple of weeks.
And truly, good luck at university, Maia!

Also, you may have noticed that on the left of the page is now a Facebook page instead of a Twitter page. I’m trying it out because it seems promising, so I hope it delivers!
