HELLO EVERYBODY! Today is this blog's first anniversary! So I thought that I might go through some history with you...
I can barely believe it's been a whole year since I started this blog. Reluctantly, at that! Let's have a look back at the first ever post on this blog...

I have a large interest in videogames and hold the dream of one day becoming a game designer. On this blog, I will do weekly updates, will post whenever a special occasion arises and may occasionally do game reviews. It was exactly one year ago when I made that post. How things have changed in a year!
Wednesday: The First Phase of the Blog
When this blog first started, it updated weekly every Wednesday. The posts were all about the week just gone and all of them also included a message from my mind. I was going to use them for less inspirational things at first, like when I mentioned Drawcia Soul from Kirby: Power Paintbrush (the world's biggest evil blob... thing.) Then I tried an inspirational one and everybody loved it.
After two posts, I decided to change the 'week in review' type post to Sundays, as I felt that would make it easier. The second of those Sunday posts finally got a name - it was the Week Review.
Sorting it Out: The Second Phase of the Blog
Suddenly, there were huge changes. I changed the name of Week Reviews to Week Overviews, put them on Friday, and introduced a new post called Random Content to be on Sundays! Week Overviews were as the name implied: an overview of the week that had passed (but only about Monday-Friday.) And Random Content was also as the name implied - random! It could be about anything. For example, the first time, I put up a QR code... with the blog's URL. (I don't think I've done anything so redundant since then!) Ah... this phase lasted for a long, long time. Partway through I introduced Current Issues, later renamed to Current Stories, which dealt with current stories on the news. And at the start of last year, I even changed up the post logos!

But I felt that something... wasn't right. I felt like writing the blog was beginning to grate on me. But I didn't want to stop... so I had to do something. At the beginning of May, I made an announcement. I was going to overhaul the blog. And at the beginning of June, I did just that! I removed the Week Overview and Random Content posts to make room for Game Reviews, Retro Reviews, Upcoming Games News, and more! The post types were a little bit shaky at first, but I've found my footing now.
And, maybe just for the fun of it, I think I'll include a message from my mind in this post.
"If you think something is a good idea, try it. It could end up really great!"
