19 days until Christmas!
Hello everybody! Today marks less than twenty days until my favourite time of the year, so I would be pretty upbeat, but... Well, I'll tell in the post proper. So I suppose we should begin anyway!
Life of Lucas - December Quiz!
So I decided we would do monthly quizzes from now on. So here's the link to this month's quiz! This time around, the quiz is less on the scientific side and more on the actual general knowledge side of things (though it does still have some scientific questions in it - a total of three or four.)
The Hebe Fact File
You may have noticed - and already read - the newest page on the blog, the Hebe Fact File. This page tells all about our pet cat Hebe, the being who has brought so much happiness to our lives. Check it out when you get the chance!
Retro games
It seems a lot of retro games - ones from the 80s and 90s - have been forgotten. Now, I am not here to denounce anything about modern games. I really enjoy both modern and retro games. I even remember which videogame was the first I ever played in my life. It was Super Mario Land, released on the Game Boy in 1989. So whilst I really enjoy modern games, that alone is proof I like retro games too. I do wish they were given more recognition in the modern world, though. Well, that won't change the fact I like them, so I'm OK.
Something that is bothering me
So there's a game - Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam Bros. - and I had preordered it so I could get it on its release date, Friday. And as of 11:30 AM on Sunday, it still has not come. I don't know why, and I'm not really bothered why it isn't here yet, I am just bothered that it isn't here. Well, I can only hope it comes this afternoon...
So anyway, we now reach the message from my mind.
"When all seems down, look up... to the hand reaching down to pull you back up on your feet."
Well then, I will see all of you on Friday! Bye then!
